SESSIONS

THE INITIAL INTERVIEW: This visit consists of an interview and brief cognitive testing in room 07 of the Sociology-Psychology Building on Duke's West Campus. Please come to room 07 on the ground floor to meet the experimenter. Please allow up to 2 hours for this first study visit. Please bring your eyeglasses or contact lenses, if you wear any. If you have one, please turn off your cell phone for the entire study visit.  
 
THE COMPUTER ASSESSMENT: This visit will consist of answering electronic questionnaires in room 07 of the Sociology-Psychology Building. You will have your waist circumference and weight measured during this visit. Please allow up to 2 hours for the second study visit. Please bring the names, emails, and phone numbers of three people that know you well, and your eyeglasses or contact lenses, if you wear any. You are also allowed to bring a portable music player with headphones to use during the visit. If you have one, please turn off your cell phone for the entire study visit.  
 
THE IMAGING SESSION: This visit will consist of an MRI scan in the Duke Brain Imaging and Analysis Center (BIAC), which is located in the Duke North Hospital. Please refrain from consuming caffeine at least two hours before your exam. If you wear eyeglasses, please know your prescription so that we may have the appropriate corrective lenses for you in the scanner. Contact lenses (non-colored) may be worn in the scanner. Please go to room 07 of the Sociology-Psychology Building to meet the experimenter and walk over to the Duke North Hospital. After the exam, you'll return with the experimenter return to the Sociology-Psychology Building and be asked to provide a saliva sample.
